By accessing or using MaxTradingTools, including the website, Chrome extension, and desktop TickerSync application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MaxTradingTools provides a software tool (TickerSync) that connects web-based charting and scanning platforms to desktop trading applications. The Service facilitates the transfer of ticker symbols between these platforms. The Service does not execute trades, provide financial advice, or access your brokerage account.

3. Experimental Software Disclaimer

MaxTradingTools is experimental software provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The software may contain bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior that could interfere with your trading workflow.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The software may not function as expected at all times
  • Ticker symbols may be transmitted incorrectly, with delay, or not at all
  • The software may interact with your trading platform in unexpected ways
  • You are solely responsible for verifying any ticker symbol before executing a trade
  • You should never rely solely on this software for trade execution decisions

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAXTRADINGTOOLS AND ITS CREATORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Financial losses resulting from incorrect or delayed ticker symbol transmission
  • Trading losses of any kind, whether or not related to the use of the Service
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account
  • Damages arising from software bugs, errors, or downtime
  • Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, including negligence.

5. Assumption of Risk

Trading securities involves substantial risk of loss. You acknowledge that you use MaxTradingTools at your own risk. The Service is a convenience tool and does not replace your own judgment, due diligence, or responsibility for your trading decisions. You are solely responsible for any trades you execute, regardless of whether the Service was involved.

6. No Financial Advice

MaxTradingTools does not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, or any form of financial guidance. The Service is a technical utility tool only.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
  • Always verify ticker symbols in your trading platform before executing trades
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software without permission

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MaxTradingTools and its creators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered users.
